Electrical Systems Technology

Curriculum

The Electrical Systems Technology program trains students to plan, install, and troubleshoot residential, commercial, and industrial electrical systems in compliance with the National Electrical Code. Students progress from wiring fundamentals through motor controls and industrial power distribution, working in a lab equipped with the panels, conduit, and test instruments used on the job.

Graduates are prepared for entry-level electrician positions with electrical contractors, industrial facilities, and maintenance departments, and the program provides a foundation for pursuing state electrical licensure through required apprenticeship hours.
