Accounting & Finance
Curriculum
The Accounting & Finance program prepares students to record, analyze, and report financial information for businesses of every size. Students master the accounting cycle, financial statement preparation, payroll, taxation, and widely used accounting software, building the technical foundation employers expect from an entry-level accounting professional.
Beyond the numbers, the program develops the analytical judgment accountants rely on daily — reconciling accounts, identifying discrepancies, and applying accounting standards consistently. A capstone course brings financial, managerial, and tax accounting together in a comprehensive case study.
Graduates are prepared for roles such as accounting clerk, bookkeeper, accounts payable/receivable specialist, payroll specialist, or entry-level staff accountant, and can pursue further credentialing or transfer toward a bachelor's degree in accounting.
